Paul is an ACC certified International Coach Federation trained coach.

Paul’s passion for coaching arises from a deep desire to see leaders and organizations succeed. He centers this commitment in the essential nature of being in authentic relationship, genuine listening, and creating community. His coaching has been a natural outgrowth of his training in transitional ministry, organizational systems theory, community organizing, and his passion for wanting to make a difference in his community and the world.

An ordained pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America since 1995, Paul Oppedahl has a demonstrated history of serving multiple congregations in transition as well as long-term pastorates. He presently serves Sabylund Lutheran Church, situated among the picturesque, rolling hills of Pepin County, Wisconsin.

Paul guides his life from the value that we are each a beloved child of God.  He finds fulfillment in celebrating God’s grace and partnering with others in making disciples and working in community to make a difference in our neighborhood and the world.

Ordained in 1995, Paul is skilled in leading during times of transition when clear, goal-oriented, strategic planning and deliberate follow-through is necessary. Trained in transitional ministry, organizational systems theory, community organizing, and life coaching, Paul effectively partners with you in a thought-provoking and creative process that will inspire you to live more deeply in a way that will resonate with God's plan for you.

Paul received his bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN, followed by a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN.
